Week 12 Listening Blog

  This week I chose to listen to Tim McGraw by Taylor Swift. This is a song that I listened to religiously growing up, so when I saw it on the list I had to pick it. I love Taylor Swift and she is such a queen. I feel like pretty much every girl I know knows this song, and if they know it they love it. Taylor's voice is so incredibly smooth, and even though she was really young when she wrote this song, you can still tell she was going to be big one day. I love the way this song makes me feel. I feel like it does a good job of highlighting what young love feels like, and I remember being like 7 years old listening to this and feeling like I got my heart broken. The guitar keeps a really consistent chord pattern throughout the song which makes it catchy, and it is ironic because the whole time she is talking about how she hopes a particular artists reminds her boyfriend of her. All of Taylor's music is so good and I have always loved her. This song is super iconic and I feel like anyone who was anyone in 2010 definitely knows this one.
